Voice sync uses your browser's built-in Web Speech API (the same technology behind Chrome's voice search). When active, your browser sends audio to Google's speech recognition servers. The prompter scrolls automatically as it recognizes your speech.
Yes. Scripts stay in your browser by default. If you click Save to My Scripts, that script is stored on our servers so you can open it on other devices. We don't share it or use it to train AI. If you use an AI feature, the script is sent to that AI provider to process it. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Free accounts can import .txt (plain text), .md (Markdown), and .srt (subtitles). Pro also imports .docx (Word). PowerPoint files aren't supported directly; upload the deck to Google Slides and use the Chrome extension instead.
